Separate cribs

Well, the day has come to put the girls to bed in separate cribs. Last night Kate wiggled sideways and then all the way across the crib to kick Maya and wake her up. This happened several times, so eventually I got smart (sometimes it take a while for my brain to kick into gear in the middle of the night) and put Maya in the other crib. I was expecting that the girls could stay in the same crib for at least another few months as I've heard from other twin parents that their twins slept in the same crib for six months. We've been moving them farther and farther apart at night - recently I've been putting them to bed at the farthest corners of the crib, so moving into a separate crib won't be much of a transition.
