This time next month we'll be on a plane to Nova Scotia to visit Josh's mom and dad. I alternate between being very excited about such an adventure and about seeing Pam and Paul and dread about how a 12 hour plane journey (with three connections) with two babies is going to be. My parents have signed up to help me on the plane to Nova Scotia because Josh isn't going to come out until a few weeks later, so at least we'll have 3 people and 2 babies. The joke is that whoever draws the short straw will carry Kate on the plane because she is much more high maintenance at the moment. In any case, I know once we get to Liverpool that we'll have a great time hanging with the grandparents and introducing Kate and Maya to beautiful Nova Scotia.

Ah, the girls have discovered baby crack (i.e. puffs). To this day, Allison can eat almost a whole can in one sitting (if she manages to get her hands on some).
Yeah, it's their first taste of food made with refined sugar and flour. They still like playing with the puffs more than eating them, but they're getting the hang of it. (Rosie has been eating more puffs than the girls.)
