Finally, the weather has turned spring like, our backyard landscaping is almost done and everyone is relatively healthy! We had a great weekend and spent as much time as possible outside to make up for the very late start to spring. The girls and I even met up with some friends this morning at the a beautiful lakeside beach. I think around this time last year we all had tried going to a beach together and it was honestly a little miserable with the girls being cranky and just wanting to eat sand. It was much better this year - the girls played in the freezing cold water (and didn't seem to mind), played with the sand, and climbed on beach chairs. I think it's going to be a good summer!
