Today was the kind of day that makes me remember why we live where we do. It was a beautiful, spring day with cloudless blue skies and temps in the 80s. We took Kate and Maya to a beautiful pool at a local luxury resort - it really felt like we were on vacation with poolside drink and food service, spectacular views and the warm, huge, kid-friendly pool.
This was the first time Kate and Maya got to get in a pool and they didn't hate it. They were in the pool for about 30 minutes and while they weren't ecstatic and laughing, they weren't crying either. So, this counts as success in my book.
